 Goldielocks

A signature cocktail created by the talented home bartender Helen from @sheshedcocktails.
"Today I'm using another delicious syrup from @violetandgold.sydney lemon myrtle and ginger, that I've paired with yuzu and a rosemary infused gin. I've topped it off with a spicy ginger beer giving this drink a double whammy of ginger..yummmm! "

Ingredients for 1 serve

* 30ml Rosemary Infused Gin
* 30ml Yuzu Liqueur @hurdle_creek_gin
20ml Lemon Juice
15ml Lemon Myrtle And Ginger Syrup mixer
Spicy Ginger Beer @capisparkling


METHOD

  • Add first four ingredients into a shaker along with ice and shake.
  • Strain into a glass and top with ginger beer.
  • Garnish with kumquats and rosemary.
  • Enjoy!

 

Mull it over

A signature cocktail created by the talented home bartender Helen from @sheshedcocktails.
"Today I'm using a mulled wine gin which has some incredible flavours including cinnamon, star anise and cloves to name a few. So I naturally wanted to pair it with an amazingly delicious Tasmanian Pepper and Strawberry Syrup from @violetandgold.sydney which was a match made in heaven!"

Ingredients for 1 serve

* 45ml MulledWine Gin @newydistillery
* 15ml Orange Liqueur  @knockloftyspirits
* 15ml Tasmanian Pepper And Strawberry
* Cherry Bitters @institutpolairetasmania
* Soda Water

 

METHOD

  • Add first four ingredients into a shaker along with ice and shake.
  • Strain into a glass
  • Top with soda water.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries and mint.
  • Enjoy!

Ingredients for 1 serve

* 45ml gin
* 30ml lime juice
* 15ml peppermint gum syrup
* 2 cucumber slices
* soda water (optional)
* 1 dried lemon wheel as garnish
* optional - a mint leaf or mint sprig

METHOD

  • Chill a wine glass, ideally in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Add 2 slices of cucumber in a shaker and muddle. 
  • Add the gin, the lemon juice and the peppermint gum syrup mixer. Shake well for about 30 seconds
  • Add ice cubes to the pre-chilled wine glass.
  • Strain the liquid into the wine glass
  • Decorate with the dried lemon wheel and with a mint sprig if you fancy. 
  • Enjoy!
